Funny, it works for me.
It is an annoyance to have to filter out these things, and also a pain that hairpins do not copy - all of this a change from previous behavior which (for my work methods) was "not broke." The addition of transportable staff lists, the advantages of which I acknowledge, has created this difficulty. However, I can successfully filter the copying process with this keyboard command on my Mac system.
I don't know why it is not working for you.

This "Copy and Filter" command will not work in FinMac 2005--it's a bug, acknowledged by tech support. I try to wait and enter all measure expressions after I've finished copying and pasting within my file--otherwise I get a real mess. And it's not just measure expressions that get pasted, but repeat text as well.
