Would you like to share any of your tricks with us? For the dashes and the smart shape in PS listings?

Actually, I basically followed the advices from the FAQ at the tips site (to print to a PS file instead of using "Compile PostScript"). But perhaps that will cause other artifacts I don't know about?

But these were my findings:
* EPS export and Compile PostScript will crash when you embed fonts, if the "Optimize for Speed" setting is set in the PostScript Options.

* The PostScript Options should also be set to a Language Level of 1 or 2. I think level 1 is the safest here.

* In previous version (of Acrobat or Finale or Windows, don't know...), I think I got around the name mangling of fonts by setting the TrueType Font Download Option to "Outline", but that doesn't seem top help now. Not sure why.

* I think you can also work around the smartshape problem of a the line width of 0, by instead use a space character. Haven't tested it, though.

The thing I don't understand is the name mangling of the truetype fonts. Is it Finale or the PostScript driver that does this? I think it can be a combination of both, since the name mangling is different depending on the PostScript driver that is used. But if that's the case, what setting (or missing setting) is causing it to happen?

Best regards,
