Well, I don't *need* scalable graphics, so I can't help you with MM. 
Yes, obviously, they should fix EPS, but lacking it in a usable form 
has no impact on me whatsoever, fortunately.

I'm not sure I understand how they think they can get away with this 
-- don't *all* professional engravers and composers and anyone 
providing camera-ready copy to publishers (you never do that on paper 
any more, right?) need this?
