Hope someone has some ideas - I use Finale 2000; just a very limited amateur so upgrade isn't realistic. Downloaded Notepad yesterday so I could read some files from newer Finale versions. Questions: Is it possible to open newer Notepad files with F2K? If not, is there a way to save Notepad as midi? And finally, if not; a Notepad only problem: I'm transposing files from Bass Clef to Treble. Is there a way to change the clef? I can't see it - what I've been doing is opening a new, blank file w/treble clef, and copy/paste the notation from the bass file. For some reason, the dynamics (bass file originally created with newer Finale) appear fine on the bass file, but when pasted to treble, there's multiple markings superimposed on each other; and I can't select them to delete them. Help file says to use articulation tool, but no handle appears on dynamics. Can't select/delete dynamics on original bass file either. Any ideas?
