Does that mean you lose the saved state?

I find it very useful that when I copy some items, then choose COPY 
EVERYTHING, then go back to copying only some items, the previously-
checked items are still checked. It sounds like the new setup will 
require rechecking them again.

In other words, it's not the replacement of COPY EVERYTHING with 
RESET TO DEFAULTS, but the loss of the previous state that is the 
problem for me.
