2005 is a Windows memory hog, too, and they probably should never have
offered it as Win98 compatible. When placing expressions, for example, it
uses up memory quickly on my 98SE 1.4GHz system with Matrox dual-head set
to 1600x1200. After placing and moving about 75 dynamic markings, it starts
smearing the dashed guides. Finale apparently is leaking the memory, and
restarting Finale does no good. It requires a system reboot, which
certainly whallops the productivity. WinFin2K6 is also being claimed to run
under 98. As if.
