Hi Hiro I think I reported something like this many months ago, and M-Audio also recently mentioned something similar. Your article also explains perfectly what happened to the FW on the logic board of my G4 350 when I was trying to us a Formac DVD-RW host powered. The FW was completely fried and no-one took responsibility - neither apple nor Formac. I take it this can't happen any more?
