Hi Ryan,
You can do this using clip files.
Make a copy of all of the original parts that you will be working
with so you have a backup in case there is a mistake along the way.
Start with a first movement part:
• Add a measure to the end of the first movement part.
• Now go the the second movement part.
• Select the Mass Edit tool
• Highlight the measures that you want to add to the first movement.
• Hold Down the option key and from the Edit menu Edit>Copy to Clip File
• You will be asked to name the clip file and select where to put the
clip file. I usually choose to save to my desktop so I can find the
file easily.
• Now go back to the first movement part and select the measure you
created earlier (within the Mass Edit tool still)
• Hold down the option key and go to Edit>Insert from Clip file
• Navigate to your clip file and select it.
• You should now see the second movement added to the end of the
first movement.
• You may end up with an extra measure at the end of your piece which
you can delete.
• It may not be necessary to create an extra measure to insert into
once you see how this works. But until you see how it works, I have
found that this is the best thing to do.

Copy and replace isn't helpful either since I have to
set the key and time signatures, etc. - we all know
the issues.
These particular files are in FinMac 2004. But I do
have 2006 installed and running if that affects the
answers...
Am I stuck or is there hope for me? Thanks for your
