[Finale] error when saving

hey guys and gals! need some help - any clues on a -5000 error when 
trying to save? (Fin2005b/mac os 10.3.9) - have also noticed (and 
deleted) a temporary save file on my desktop.... couldn't find anything 
using search on the Finale support site - TIA
