For some reason I don't get the connection of Robert King's personal
sexual tastes (which were no news to me, gossip in the early music scene
is very popular - but should stay private) and the Finale list. And I
simply dislike this kind of discussion on a public board. Whether you
are reporting facts or not, you are certainly doing your bit to spread
the gossip, hurt Robert King, and all that before any of us know
anything about what happened. The story would be different had there
been a trial and someone had been convicted or not. Simply being charged
means nothing.
Too many rumours have been spread in this fashion, damaging totally
innocent people. I am not saying RK is innocent, but I'd like to wait
until the facts are known and tried before discussing someone else's
private life in such detail on a public board.
I am not even saying that I don't gossip, I do, probably more than some.
But gossiping in such a manner on a public forum is not right imo.
