I called for linked parts long before I even knew Sibelius existed. And if I'm remembering correctly, some one from MM told us that linked parts was something that they'd been contemplating for some time, and the Sibelius implementation just made it essential to get it done. It's not the kind of thing I'd expect many users to request, as conceiving of it requires a rather high-level view of the program and data structures involved. -- David W.
