I can't see editions going online until:

1. they are complete.

2. first sales have been basically exhausted (mostly to libraries, I 
guess).

I was surprised that the NMA did the paperback edition (which is 
really quite a nice edition, though I do have one defective volume), 
which came out just as soon as they'd finished the edition as a 
whole. And I got it cheap at the pre-release price, $1000 (put it on 
a credit card, since I was still in grad school living on a 
fellowship!).

The CPE Bach edition is far from being complete, so I don't really 
think we'll see it online any time soon.
