For me the sign of a change will be when bugs are fixed that may be insignificant to production but should be an embarrassment to the company. That will show a standard and philosophy of excellence. My favorite (especially since it was fixed once and then reintroduced in a later version) is the drifting handles on measure attached expressions when the staff is not sized at 100%.
