Maybe an online petition or something? Something that is documented, so we can say "Hey, MakeMusic, 1000 people want this".

That's just it, whether it's bug fixes, new features or improvements to existing features, we need to lobby MakeMusic.

And then there's the old "you need that fixed but I need this new feature added" quandary. I think that trying to restrict MakeMusic from adding new features is like trying to get Microsoft to quit acting like a monopoly -- it just ain't gonna happen.

But you are welcome to invite people to lobby MakeMusic with just that point of view -- no new features until the current bugs are fixed. Especially the bugs which didn't used to be bugs (hyphenation actually worked at one point, as did enharmonic flipping in speedy entry).

There will always be new features added -- it's part of marketing. They sure as heck aren't going to release a version which the only slogan Marketing can come up with is "It's finally Fixed! Read all about it, no bugs at all!" So we can either try to direct the new features through lobbying them via tech support or we can sit back and wait for the much satirized "ThoughtNotator(tm)" becomes a reality and a big marketing hype.

But in the meantime be relentless in hounding them, and get others to hound them, to fix the bugs which annoy you. And be willing to do the same for the bugs which annoy others.
