This is true. The documentation will open in Safari on Mac and IE on
Windows, regardless of your default browser. I hope this will be
fixed later on. The new documentation is an improvement in many ways,
although there are some aspects of the PDF I miss. Maybe I was just used to it.

Even for users who always kept 'Select Partial Measures' on, I think
the new selection paradigm is very useful. There are fairly easy ways
to change a selection from partial measure to full measure and back
again, and to extend a partial measure selection with the mouse or
the keyboard. All of this will take some getting used to.
