More than 30,000 titles and counting!

The SmartMusic practice system includes more than 30,000 solo and
ensemble titles and 50,000 exercises for woodwind, brass, string, and
vocal musicians. Access the library with your paid subscription.

And access your own copyrighted music, turned into SmartMusic accompaniment files with Finale only with a paid subscription, which MakeMusic doesn't pay you then any royalty for using your own music.

In other words, the ability to create SmartMusic accompaniments with Finale is only so that you can then make MakeMusic even richer by having to buy an annual subscription in order to have you or your own students use your very own music.

I wonder how MakeMusic divides the income among the heavy-hitter copyright owners such as Hal Leonard or Warner Brothers.
