Any monitor that is VESA-compliant can be mounted on an arm that pivots. You can get an VESA-adapter for the current line of Apple Cinema Displays.

I have a more information (possibly somewhat dated but still useful) as well as a photo at my website:

Hi all,

My university is buying me a new loaded MacBook! I'd like to buy a large
pivoting monitor to plug into the MacBook for use in my home studio. Can anyone
recommend some good options?

Thanks in advance,
Eric Richards
