I would suggest ever so gently that you do not use labels except as a
temporary solution for disks you will discard.

Without getting into the details: Labels can damage players (both by
lifting/catching and by unbalancing), they can tear the recorded surface,
they can interact with the surface making it unreadable... and so on.

I used labels briefly years ago and learned some of these lessons the hard
way. And after my years doing a radio show, I also discovered how labels
could turn a good show into a disaster recovery scene. :)

There are CDs and DVDs with inkjet surfaces, and printers to do them (such
as Epson) are quite inexpensive at the big box stores.

That doesn't answer your question, but I can only try to persuade...
