Frankly, I don't know enough about that situation to be able to opine on it. I have done a little (very little) work with rotated or backward text (including rotated or mirrored characters) and have found that wonders can worked in that line using the graphics designer and/or smart-shape tool; but it does seem to me that more than a few words manipulated in that way would be more trouble than it's worth.

If I have to leave Finale to create something like this, I'd head straight to Fontographer.
