Rodney,

Have you tried deleting the preference file? Corrupted preferences can cause problems like this.

Have just submitted following to Finale support:
Re: Finale 2010 on Windows Vista (Home Premium) SP2, Intel Core 2 Duo 3.16Ghz, 4Gb DDR RAM: The program has worked well for the last month. Finale 2010 today opens and freezes in a greyed-out minimised window that is partially off-screen. It cannot be moved or activated - it is 'dead' - the only way to close it is through Ctrl+Alt+Del/Close program. Have re-booted and restarted program - to no avail. My only thought is the last batch of Windows Vista automatic updates (in the last few days - i.e. to Vista SP2 etc) is the culprit???
Anyone had a similar experience? Any thoughts?
Rod

Your specs are very close to my specs, except that I'm running Vista Home Premium 64bit and I've got no problem opening Finale even though I've got SP2 installed.

Must be something else.
