That won't necessarily fix the problem -- it depends on whether or not the registration process is performed by the Finale executable, or is handed off to a different module. If the former, RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR will do the job. If it's the latter, it won't, as the other module will get the default user-level security token, not the Finale executable's admin-level security token. If that's the case, then it's a design error in Finale, perhaps because the version in question predates the release of Vista. -- David W.
