I actually have a QuicKey setup to do just that via TGTools (you have to
have "option" held down to involve a plug-in without the dialog box) but
you do have to go in and reconfigure it to close up or widen staves. You
can also set something up via the redone "Respace Staves" dialog box under
the staff menu but I've had some inconsistancies that I have not been able
to track down and it's not as fast as TGTools.
