Ascending, of course. I've tried to create this, but without success. If anybody has any easy way to do this, or at least a clear explanation, I'd be grateful.
Also, assuming this is possible, will it transpose as expected? That is, if I have a D melodic minor, will it transpose up a major second as E melodic minor? And lastly, will it transpose diatonically according to the key signature? I'd like to be able to select a section, press 6, and have everything be one step lower in the same key.
