Pretty sure the Maria Schneider book is in JazzFont. I don't care for B'way Copyist, either. I use JazzFont for notation and Dom Casual for text & chords. There are some problems with JazzFont, and supposedly MakeMusic (or whatever) is looking at an alternative; they can't alter the JF, probably for proprietary issues.
