Dear Fink-Experts, First of all thanks to those who had answered to my last question.
I know that I will annoy some of you with my following question. How can one copy and paste with the mouse in an usual X-terminal ? It works in emacs and I can copy and paste from X11 to aqua (but not vice versa). So there are problems with the capabilities of the middle mouse button. I scanned through the mailing lists and tried to exploit the answers to similar questions posed earlier. However, I've succeeded with none of them. Also I have included 'autocutsel &' at the beginning of my '.xinitrc'. Here's what I have... I have downloaded xfree86-base, xfree86-server for the X11-server and using fink version 0.3.2a. In my '.xinitrc' file I have started a 'gnome-session' using sawfish as the window manager. I use a logitech scrollable mouse. What puzzles me also that in XDarwin-Preferences I have no access to the mouse settings. This is clearly an indication that something is missing. The latter I had it in my first installation of fink but after a reinstallation it was gone. Also in my first installation I had the opportunity to choose between full screen mode and rootless mode. Can anyone give me a hint how to solve the two (three) problems ?
