Hi everybody!

I have the most recent fink version, selfupdated just 5 minutes ago.

In the past, when I wanted to install from unstable, I simply would
copy the package's .info and .patch from the unstable tree into
"/sw/fink/dists/local/main/finkinfo".

However, it no longer seems to work for me, on the 2 different
computers I use. For instance, I'm trying to install grass-5,
located in "/sw/fink/dists/unstable/main/finkinfo/sci/". Copying
its 2 files to my "local" tree does not work, since fink isn't able
to find the package:
---
[xxx:~] xxx% fink install grass
sudo /sw/bin/fink install grass
Information about 561 packages read in 1 seconds.
no package found for "grass"
Failed: no package found for specification 'grass'!
---

What's hapenning? Is there a new way to install from unstable?

Thanks in advance,

Ramiro Tllez Sanz
