I managed to get the files : fink sees them now that I have run fink index. But as mentioned I now get a 'Internal error' while compiling, and I really don't know where that comes from. I do suspect that it may have something to do with my XFree86 install since qt requires the X11 libs.
However, when I try to re-install XFree with fink, it tells me that it detects a valid install so that I didn't try any further (I'm on a slow and relatively expensive dial-up connection, so that I tend not to start downloading 20MB if I'm not sure it's the issue. > You may also need to have unstable/main ahead of stable/main (if I > remember > correctly). I tried it too, but it didn't change anything (which, I guess, makes sense since I now have the files downloaded). ------------------------------------------------------- Sponsored by: ThinkGeek at http://www.ThinkGeek.com/ _______________________________________________ Fink-beginners mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-beginners
