Hi All,

Am I right or is Fink currently setup to download a deprecated tarball
for Apache Xerces XML parser - v2.0.2.

It appears at the Apache Xerces site that this version has been
deprecated. It can be found at the following path:

http://xml.apache.org/dist/xerces-j/old_xerces2/Xerces-J-
src.2.0.2.tar.gz

as opposed to the core Xerces-J path:

http://xml.apache.org/dist/xerces-j/Xerces-J-src.2.0.2.tar.gz

At this path, the current version is v2.2.0

http://xml.apache.org/dist/xerces-j/Xerces-J-src.2.2.0.tar.gz

Is it possible to change the path Fink uses to obtain a source tarball?
I find that often a software project's site file structure has changed
and wget or curl returns an error to Fink, bringing what might be a
complex Fink installation of many dependent packages to a screeching
halt.

Many thanks ahead of time for any help you can offer.

Cheers,
Bill Bug
