I am not sure if this is the correct forum to ask this question. I just installed via fink the gramps genealogy program. In general it seemed to work just fine. When I added a picture to the database, it tried to make a thumbnail of the picture and it failed with the following error message:
-- Could not create a thumbnail for /Users/alanrakes/rakes-family-tree/O0.jpg Exceptions.ImportError The _imaging C module is not installed -- Is this possibly due to a missing dependency in the installation? Or is it due to some other error. Or is it just a bug in the software? Thank you for any advice.
