As individual (sic) said in a response, Apache is installed in the default OS X installation. It needs to be turned on via the command line.

Hi list,
im am new to Mac OS X and to UNIX and i want to install apache on my powerbook. Anyway I installed fink and tried to install apache... i already added apache to the stable just to try.
Currently every package i want to install comes with the same error: ** configure: error: no acceptable cc found in $PATH ### execution of ./configure failed, exit code 1 Failed: compiling readline-4.3-5 failed **
What do i have to do to get it working?
If anyone already have some experience about to install mysql, php and apache on Darwin i would be happy to hear more or get some howto's.
Dennis
