I've recently upgraded to 10.3, and since then I can't seem to get programs to run that rely on Fink.

When I run self update I get the following response

rm -rf /sw/fink.tmp
mkdir -p /sw/fink.tmp
chown charlie /sw/fink.tmp
Checking to see if we can use hard links to merge the existing tree. Please
ignore errors on the next few lines.
touch /sw/fink/README; ln /sw/fink/README /sw/fink.tmp/README
Now logging into the CVS server. When CVS asks you for a password, just press
return (i.e. the password is empty).
su charlie -c 'cvs -d:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/fink login'
su: cvs: Command not found.
### execution of su failed, exit code 1
Failed: Logging into the CVS server for anonymous read-only access failed.

I've tried searching the archives, but I can't seem to refine the search enough to find anything out.

I've also looked at the Fink FAQ which suggests the problem might be a .tcshrc but that file doesn't exist and .cshrc has the correct line in it.

Can anybody help?

Charlie

Saying that the Macintosh is inferior to Windows, just because more people use Windows, is like saying every other restaurant is inferior to McDonalds
