At this time I haven't got Panther installed, and the most recent Dev-Tools are including gcc-3.3, if I remember well.
But it must be possible to upgrade (free!! certainly...) GNU Compiler without installling all the Dev-Tools upgrade stuff ?!
A further problem is Apple has released the devTools only for panther (the most recent)....
What am I supposed to do ?

You are supposed to get the December 2002 Developer Tools upgrade from Apple (if you don't already have it), and then the August 2003 Updater. That will give you gcc 3.3.
