<AKH>That definitely looks wrong. The first thing I'd try is to update your package descriptions by running (in a terminal window)
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
It may be that there are some problems that have been fixed since the 0.6.2 binary release was first put out.
if anyone has a few minutes could they please post step - by step install instructions
that can allow Ethereal to work with OSX 10.3
I have search the fink-lists for help and have reinstall OSX and Ethereal several times /
with different combinations with no luck ...
<AKH> Don't reinstall OSX! That's excessive.
I use Ethereal in my work environment and really need some assistance ...
thanks armond
