Hi all,

"fink reinstall" on both of them to try and get any missing files).

However, if something went wrong at build time, then the missing files are missing from the .deb archive, too.

Either try "fink rebuild xfree86" or do "sudo apt-get install --reinstall xfree86" to download it from the binary distribution and save yourself some time.

But when I do "startx", I get:

2004-04-07 15:45:55.338 XDarwin[1250] No Info.plist file in application
bundle or no NSPrincipalClass in the Info.plist file, exiting
giving up.
xinit: No such file or directory (errno 2): unable to connect to X
server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error.

When I double-click on the XDarwin icon in /Applications, it opens briefly
and quits immediately. The icon for the .app folder is also missing (it's
just a regular folder icon instead of a red X icon).

Help!
