Hi, everybody.
While trying to install the bundle-gnome-2.4.1-2 package from the unstable tree Fink decides that it wants to install the xfree86 and xfree86-shlibs packages, too, to satisfy virtual dependencies. However, I have the system-xfree86 and system-xfree86-shlibs packages already installed because I'm using Apple's X11. Why is it doing this and is there any way to get around it? Thanks.
Have you read and followed the Fink FAQ#9.11 http://fink.sourceforge.net/faq/usage-packages.php?phpLang=en#apple-x11-wants-xfree86 ?
