Fink Version: 0.7.0
Mac OS X: 10.3 (Panther)
My problem arises at step #5, mostly because I'm a
relative computer novice not familiar with Developer
Tools.
My problem is:
- don't know how to open a terminal.app window
- dont know how to run commands from commander menu
- do i HAVE to do anything else after step five?
Step 5 is:
Open a new Terminal.app window and run the following:
"fink scanpackages; fink index", or use the included
Fink Commander GUI application (which must be placed
in a real folder on your system, not run from the disk
image) and run the following commands from its menu:
Source->scanpackages followed by Source->Tools->index.
