I have tried a live cd of ubuntu linux and the newer (2.8) gnome is quite a bit nicer in my opionion. I look forward to its, or 2.10's, arrival. Now if there was a better OpenOffice version available like the 2.0 version on the cd-boy is that nice too!!

Hello all,
there was word out awhile back that gnome planner was being worked on to be ported via fink to mac. Any word now? Also, is there any idea when gnome might be updated closer to the current avilable linux version-maybe to 2.8?
thanks for any info and good job to all of the fink maintainers, et. al.
Brian
GNOME is being worked on a bit, but I'm not clear as to when it's going to be out (2.10 is even in the queue).
Cheers!
