The problem is that you don't presently have x11 installed... > Depends: x11 but it is not installable. For Fink users, this > often means that you have attempted to install a package from the binary > distribution which depends on a "Restrictive" package. See ><http://fink.sourceforge.net/faq/usage-fink.php#bindist>, ><http://fink.sourceforge.net/doc/users-guide/packages.php#bin-exceptions> > E: Sorry, broken packages ...and fink can't figure out how to do it for you. That's because you're using a binary distro that doesn't have any x11 providers and Apple's x11, if indeed you have installed it manually, is missing some components. If you want to use Apple's x11--I have not heard of any packages that are not usable with it--(re)install X11User from your Tiger installation disk. The next version of fink's apt will have an improved error message in this situation. dan -- Daniel Macks [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.netspace.org/~dmacks _______________________________________________ Fink-beginners mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-beginners
