Subject: Problems installing

To whom it may concern,

I am unable to install anything using the fink commander. I keep getting similar responses in that area below the package list saying something along the lines of:

Can't resolve dependency "fink (>= 0.28.0)" for package
"gettext-tools-0.14.5-4" (no matching packages/versions found)
Exiting with failure.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Humbly awaiting your response.

Sincerely,
Adam Goldfarb

In Fink commander, you can run a "Binary->update" followed by a "Binary-dist-upgrade". The fink tool that shipped with the 10.5 binary distribution wound up being too old with respect to some other packages, and this operation will get you a newer one.
