I'm trying to install xfree86 and it seems I have the same problem
described in the following e-mail: Re: [Fink-beginners] Xfree86 update Alexander Hansen Wed, 24 Apr 2002 06:09:37 -0700 I've seen this problem before. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't /etc/X11 an independent directory in XFree86 4.1, and is now a symlink under 4.2 ? How do I go about resolving the situation?
