Dear Alexander

Thanks for the tip.

I am using Mac OS X version 10.4.11 - Processor: 2 GHz Intel Core Duo

If you could point me to the correct version of Xcode - I would much
appreciate. Also would I need to install this new Xcode version on my laptop
and then simply rerun my tetex install command using "sudo apt-get install
tetex" ?

Thanks a lot for your help in this

Bruno

There are three issues here:

1) There appear to have been changes in both 10.4 and 10.5 that make
our tetex-3.0-1001 not work properly. 3.0-1002 fixes this.

2) The doxygen package in the binary distribution, which many packages
have build dependencies on to build their documentation, has a build
dependency on tetex to build its own documentation. This has been
changed in the current source distribution version of doxygen.

3) sbcl doesn't have a binary version for anything but 10.4/powerpc, as
noted at

        http://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/sbcl

The solution to all three issues is to use the source distribution,
which requires an appropriate version of Xcode (since you didn't specify
your platform I can't tell you what version to use) and can be enabled
via either

        fink selfupdate-cvs

or

        fink selfupdate-rsync
