Dear Alexander Thanks for the tip.
I am using Mac OS X version 10.4.11 - Processor: 2 GHz Intel Core Duo If you could point me to the correct version of Xcode - I would much appreciate. Also would I need to install this new Xcode version on my laptop and then simply rerun my tetex install command using "sudo apt-get install tetex" ? Thanks a lot for your help in this Bruno ________________________________________ From: Alexander Hansen [[email protected]] Sent: Monday, August 10, 2009 11:16 AM To: Bruno Tremblay, Prof. Cc: Fink Mailing-Liste Subject: Re: [Fink-beginners] Update requires removing -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Bruno Tremblay, Prof. wrote: > Hi Holger > > I have tried the command below - it worked until the last command, where i > got the message > > E: Couldn't find package sbcl > > Subsequently to trying to install latex (tetex) on my Mac. This has been changed in the current source distribution version of doxygen. 3) sbcl doesn't have a binary version for anything but 10.4/powerpc, as noted at http://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/sbcl The solution to all three issues is to use the source distribution, which requires an appropriate version of Xcode (since you didn't specify your platform I can't tell you what version to use) and can be enabled via either fink selfupdate-cvs or fink selfupdate-rsync - -- Alexander Hansen Fink User Liaison -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAkqAObgACgkQB8UpO3rKjQ+t9gCePCUdoSRaPLYYS+Iq9hgYcYR5 //wAnRzkUTZ+DLvdu9znNPd/2KyFXXkS =PQZB -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
