Hi, folks, I'm posting here about a bug I found in the Xournal (unstable) package. I attempted to post to the linked Bugzilla page from the Fink homepage, and neither did the project page load, nor could I create a user account to post there (CGI errors). I also tried the Fink sourceforge project page, and could not become a member of the group to post this bug...
However, I thought it might be useful information, and decided to throw myself on the mercy of this group and report it here. My apologies if I'm messing with the bandwidth! Bug: when you try to annotate a PDF, no background PDF image (to annotate) appears. However, when you save the resulting file, it defaults to a FILENAME.pdf.xoj filename -- apparently it thinks it is annotating the PDF. In any case, these symptoms correspond exactly to the bug reported for Xournal over at Arch Linux: http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/12923 In the above page, the Arch Linux folks have posted a patchfile and new PKGBUILD file that apparently fix the bug. However, building the file from source without using Fink fails for me, and I can't figure out how to incorporate the patch (which is invoked by autogen.sh) in the existing Fink package to try it.
