I'm a self-admitted beginner here. every time I run: sudo apt-get install [anything] I get: E: Couldn't find package [anything]
So for example: sudo apt-get install wget Reading Package Lists... Done Building Dependency Tree... Done E: Couldn't find package wget And I've updated like this: sudo apt-get update Reading Package Lists... Done Building Dependency Tree... Done Any help would be greatly appreciated. I feel like I've got a mirror configured incorrectly, or something... Thanks. -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/E%3A-Couldn%27t-find-package...-tp27138980p27138980.html Sent from the fink-beginners mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Fink-beginners mailing list [email protected] http://news.gmane.org/gmane.os.apple.fink.beginners
