Dear Alexander,
I tried that, then the comilation continue until a new error arise. I
decided to download fink again, untar it and try again. This time the
compilation finish without problems. Many thanks for your suppport.

As a workaround, you can download the missing image files from
https://github.com/fink/fink/tree/master/images and put them in the
images/ directory of the fink source that you are bootstrapping from.
Try that.
