Don't know what changed, but after installing Xquartz 2.7.6, xterm now opens on
startup pinned to upper left corner of desktop and can't be moved. Also, after
opening edit to edit a file under this new X11, cursor changes to an "X", the
nedit window is pinned to upper left corner and cannot be moved, and eventually
closed/crashed with the error
quaternion:Data Mike$ XIO: fatal IO error 35 (Resource temporarily
unavailable) on X server "/tmp/launch-Rfo1RT/org.macosforge.xquartz:0"
after 10597 requests (7987 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
Naturally, I am at a loss in understanding what is going on. It seems a config
file has been changed somewhere. Have never had this problem before.
