I did nothing more at my end, this time the fink install libemf-1.0.4-1
launched.

I had then to copy the libemf.patch in
/sw/fink/10.4/stable/main/finkinfo/graphics

I am resuming installation of Octave, it seems the error won't occur
again.Many thks.
