Assuming that you're currently on 10.9, your currently installed 
packages will probably work, apart from fink itself.

I'd recommend the following:

Download the development source from https://github.com/fink/fink (e.g. 
from the "Download zip file" button.

Unpack the archive if your browser didn't automatically do that for you.

In a terminal, "cd" into the unpacked archive directory, then run "sudo 
./inject.pl"  This will update fink to know how to deal with Yosemite.

Then update the OS, and make sure to update the Xcode command-line tools 
to a Yosemite-supporting version.

Lastly, use "fink reinstall fink" to reconfigure fink to use the right 
distribution.
