Following instructions at
Download Fink Source Release
at finkproject.org <http://finkproject.org/>, when I get to ./bootstrap, after
prompt to use root privileges, picking sudo and entering password, I get:
Please install Java SDK before re-attempting fink bootstrap
and a pop-up telling me I need Java Runtime Environment, with a More Info...
button to lead to installing that. I follow that button, agree to terms, get
recommended Version 8 Update 25, open the pkg, run the Install Wizard, get
Install Succeeded, run the test applet, get a Java blocked for this website
notice, click on Run as instructed, get Congratulations You have the
recommended ..., try ./bootstrap from the appropriate directory again, and I'm
back where I started. Restarting computer doesn't help.
What am I doing wrong?
