Here's the procedure for updating the faq:
1) check in your edited faq.xml, from the web/xml/faq directory
2) run "make" and then "make install" in the web/xml/faq directory
3) check in the modified "installed" files, by running "cvs commit"
in the web/faq directory
4) use your sourceforge account to log in via ssh to ssh.sf.net,
cd to "/home/groups/f/fi/fink/htdocs" and run the script
"update.sh" which you will find there.
