gcc/g++ 3.3 is now available from the appple developers site, http://connect.apple.com/ . installing this however, one cannot build the bootstrap package, as apt will not compile.
This is a known issue, it's been out for a few days, give us some time to get things working. :)
Perhaps we should note on the website that using gcc 3.3 is not (yet) supported, and recommend running "sudo gcc-select 3.1"?
